Millions of Indian shops still run on notebooks and memory — not because software doesn't exist, but because it wasn't built for them. Dharan Ventures exists to change that: products priced for small shops, designed for low-end phones, and dependable where the network isn't.
Works offline, always
Every product is offline-first by default. Sync is a bonus, never a requirement — a shop shouldn't stop because the signal did.
Speaks the shop's language
Interfaces in Tamil, Hindi and English, with voice input where typing gets in the way. Software should adapt to the user, not the other way around.
Built in real shops
Features come from watching real counters — how orders are taken, measurements remembered, payments missed — not from a boardroom roadmap.
